Professional baseball player best known for being an outfielder for Major League Baseball's team, the Chicago Cubs. After being named one of the top prospects for the 2020 MLB draft, he was selected in the 1st round and signed by the New York Mets before being traded to the Cubs in 2021. He played for Minor League teams such as the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and the Tennessee Smokies before making his MLB senior career debut in September of 2023. 

Before Fame

During his 2019 junior year at Harvard-Westlake School, he was named the Los Angeles Times Player of the Year. After graduating, he committed to play for Vanderbilt University but instead decided to declare for the 2020 MLB draft. During his amateur career, he represented the USA men's baseball team 4 times and won gold medals at the 2017 and 2018 COPABE Pan American Championships.

Trivia

He was named Player of the Week within the Carolina League on May 1, 2022. In August of that same year, he was named Player of the Month by the Midwest League. He was also named Cubs Organization All-Star by the National League after winning a Minor League Gold Glove Award.
