Painter who co-founded the Association of Croatian Naïve Artists and took part in more than three hundred exhibitions. His works included oils on glass, canvas, watercolors, and drawings.

Before Fame

His Yugoslavian military service took him to Karlovac, where he eventually settled. He was a 1952 graduate of the Civil Engineering Polytechnic in Pula.

Trivia

He was associated with the Naïve Art movement and was included in Laval's Henri Rousseau Museum, The Vatican's Museum of Contemporary Religious Art, Manila's Metropolitan Museum, Sao Paulo's Art Museum, and Zagreb's Croatian Museum of Naive Art.

Family Life

He was born in the Podravina region of what was then the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
