Remembered best as a vocalist and songwriter for the New York rock, pop, and blues band The Good Rats, Marchello founded his music group with St. John's University classmates Frank Stapleton, Ted Haenlein, Denny Ryan, and Eric Crane. The band's best known albums include Tasty and Ratcity in Blue.
Before Fame
Before changing its name to the Good Rats, his popular band made its debut in the mid 1960s as 'The U Men.'
