Award-winning choreographer and staging director who has worked on prominent televised events such as Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows, The VMAs, The Grammy's, and America's Got Talent. He designed the show tracks for all of the major media works of One Direction and choreographed the Spice Girls "Spice World" comeback Stadium Tour in 2019. He also choreographed the entirety of Pete Townshend's Quadrophenia: A Mod Ballet, which prepared for its world premiere and subsequent UK tour in 2024.
Before Fame
He initially developed an interest in performing arts at a local theater group called the Louth Playgoers. He attended Monks' Dyke High School in his hometown of Louth, Lincolnshire before going on to graduate from the Urdang Academy of Performing Arts in Covent Garden in London. After graduating, he earned a career-defining opportunity to choreograph the music video for the #1 song "Because We Want To" by Billie Piper in 1998.
Trivia
He won a Best Choreography VMA for the music video for "Treat People with Kindness" by Harry Styles in 2021. He also worked on The Ballet Boyz: The Rite of Spring, which took home the 2010 Grand Prix Golden Prague International Television Award after premiering on BBC3.
