Before Fame

She was married to Maurizio Gucci in 1970 and became a New York socialite after receiving a penthouse from Gucci's father Rodolfo Gucci. In 1982 the couple moved back to Milan. In 1985, Gucci announced the marriage was over. The two were officially divorced in 1994. 

Trivia

She was nicknamed "Black Widow" by the media during her high-profile trial. She loves animals, and her legal team negotiated her being allowed to have a pet ferret, Bambi, while in prison.

Family Life

She and Maurizio Gucci had two children, Alessandra in 1976, and Allegra in 1981.
