Turkish award-winning writer and director who is best known for his work as writer/director on the 2011 film The Extremely Tragic Story of Celal Tan and His Family as well as the 2010 film Five Cities.
Before Fame
He first made his debut as a director in 2009 when he made the film Love, Bitter. He then expanded to screenwriting as well in 2011. Stepping aside from film, he is also known for directing his first television series Leyla and Mecnun in 2011.
Trivia
He was won multiple Golden Orange Awards including for Best Screenplay in 2009 and Best Screenplay in 2014.

He was born and raised in Izmit, Turkey.
