Before rising in popularity as a musician, he studied mass communication at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Ogun State and graduated with a diploma in desktop publishing. He took his stage name in 2018 after signing a record deal with U&I Music Label, where he had interned for 2 years.

Family Life

He was born in Nigeria, and his birth name is Adelusola Ebenezer Adefemi. He has shared that his artistic alias "Olakira" means "Shining star" in Swahili.
