Musician from Tanzania who is better known by his stage name SHETTA. Several of his songs have reached peak positions on various music charts, both within Tanzania and across the African continent. In 2016, his single "Namjua" was at the peak position for consecutive weeks across music charts. Additionally, the song's accompanying video garnered an impressive one million views on YouTube during the same year. His single "Kerewa" was featured on MTV's Africa Top 10. 

Before Fame

His journey in the music industry began as a dancer with the local group called Misifa Camp. He worked under the mentorship of the singer and producer, Dully Sykes, initially serving as a backup singer for him. However, as he honed his musical skills and talents, he eventually went on to establish his own musical group called Dar Stamina. 

Trivia

In addition to his musical career, he is also the founder of a non-profit organization named Sawa. This initiative is dedicated to combating and putting an end to violence against women and children. His very popular officialshetta Instagram has amassed 5 million followers.
