Nikita Kanda

British radio presenter and broadcaster known for hosting the BBC Asian Network's Breakfast Show. She was nominated for Presenter of the Year at the Asian Media Awards in 2022. She was announced to be competing as a contestant on the competition show Strictly Come Dancing in 2023. 

Before Fame

She studied film and screen media in college. After she graduated she worked on Zee TV and presented the drivetime show on Asian Star 101.6FM. She took part in West End theatre productions including The Wiz, Bugsy Malone, Annie and Pocahontas. She also appeared as one of the thirty women on the final series of the ITV dating show Take Me Out in 2019. 

Trivia

She has also worked as an actress and acted in the films Six Rounds, Fuddu, and Taweez. She has garnered over 30,000 followers on Instagram as a result of her radio fame. 

Family Life

She was born in Birmingham, England. Her grandfather immigrated to England from Punjab, India.
