Nick Freitas

American politician who is best known for having been a member of the Virginia House of Delegates since 2015. He is the host of the podcast called "Making the Argument with Nick Freitas." He has also gained popularity for his posting content about politics, fatherhood, and the army.

Before Fame

After high school, he joined the Army and served with the 82nd Airborne Division and 25th Light Infantry Division as an Infantryman. In 2015, he received a BS in Intelligence Management from Henley-Putnam School of Strategic Security. 

Trivia

After September 11th he volunteered for US Army Special Forces and served 2 tours in Iraq as a Special Forces Weapons SGT and Special Forces Intelligence SGT. He was the Republican nominee in the 2020 election to represent Virginia's 7th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives, which he lost to Abigail Spanberger.

Family Life

He is the son of Robin McMichael and John Freitas. He has been married to his high school sweetheart Tina Freitas since 1999. They have 3 children, Lillyana, Luke, and Alexandria.
