About

Winner of the 2019 Miss America pageant. She's a trained opera singer, a songwriter and performed a song from La Boheme for the talent portion of the competition. 

Before Fame

She's originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina and earned her master's degree in music composition from UNC School of the Arts

Trivia

She planned to use the Miss America platform to advocate for the arts. 

Family Life

She donated her stem cells to her father to treat his non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
