Before Fame
He studied at the University of Ljubljana. He published his debut poetic work, Elektronke voce, in 1970.
Trivia
He published sixteen collections of poetry during his lifetime. A seventeenth volume was published posthumously in 2004.
Family Life
He was born in the Vipava Valley of western Slovenia and lived in his hometown for the majority of his life.
