Television personality and reality TV show star known for her participation in reality TV shows such as The Amazing Race and Survivor. She became famous after winning Survivor: San Juan del Sur in 2014 and then later secured the runner-up position in Survivor: Winners at War in 2019.

Before Fame

She and her sister moved to Sri Lanka from the United States when they were 3 years old. She moved back to the United States to attend Hall High School when she was 13 years old. She was active in sports as a child and teenager. She served as the captain of the swim team and participated in track. She then attended Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business where she played rugby. Her big break came after being cast in The Amazing Race 21 in 2012.

Trivia

She was the first person voted out in  Survivor: Winners at War but she fought her way back from the Edge of Extinction to eventually finish as the runner-up. She is dedicated to working out and athleticism and documents many of her workouts on her Instagram page.

Family Life

She was born in New York City, New York. Her father is Tamil and her mother is Sinhalese. She has a twin sister named Nadiya Anderson who competed with her on The Amazing Race. She and her family spent some time in Sri Lanka when she was a child before coming back to the United States.
