Before Fame

She was performing solo under the name Songbird, recruiting her friend Brynjar to help on guitar, followed up by adding Raggi on glockenspiel, and then three more members.

Trivia

She credited Raggi with coming up with their group's name, which she said serves as a good description of their song themes.

Family Life

She was born in the town of Garður in southwestern Iceland.
