Former calypso singer who transitioned to gospel music, known primarily by her stage name, Mylla Karvalho. As a member of the Brazilian vocal band Companhia do Calypso, she recorded over six albums and accumulated over 2 million records sold.

She began to realize her interest in music as a child, and by the age of the 13 she began performing.

After launching her solo singing career in 2008, she decided to change her music style and began to dedicating her music to her religious beliefs.
