Actor known for theater and film. He worked extensively with Ken Russell, appearing in at least six of his films and TV shows. His credits include Phantom of the Opera, The Avengers, and Diary of a Nobody. He also wrote The Art of Theatre Workshop in 2006 and The Theatre Royal, A History of the Building in 2009.
Before Fame
He did office work for a travel agency and later served in the Royal Air Force. He eventually studied drama at the City Literary Institute.

He played Bilis Manger in Torchwood. He amassed over 100 acting credits throughout his long and prolific career.
Family Life
He was born in St. Pancras, London. His parents were Hugh Victor Melvin and Maisie Winifred Driscoll. In December of 2022, he suffered a fall and sustained injuries from which he never recovered. He died in April of 2023.
