As a senior, he was considered a four-star prospect. He originally committed to play for Ed Orgeron at Louisiana State University, but flipped to Georgia.
Trivia
He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Arizona Cardinals during week one of the 2021 regular season. He recorded two tackles in a 38-13 Titans loss. While at Georgia, he was a finalist for the Butkus Award his senior year.
