About

American painter with a reputation for bold post-feminist works that celebrate body positivity and ethnicity. She has been exhibited in many leading art galleries, including the Young Abraham Collective, the prestigious V1 Gallery in Copenhagen, and the New Image Art Gallery.

Before Fame

She attended Syracuse University after high school. She graduated from the California College of the Arts with a BFA in drawing and painting. 

Trivia

At age 26, she moved back into her parents' home in Atlanta after a failed attempt in New York City as an artist. She described herself as "washed up." She worked in a local chicken wing restaurant during this time. 

Family Life

Her mother was Korean, and her father was Mexican. Her brother studied aerospace engineering in college. She lives in Atlanta, GA.

Her use of languid female form set against tropical color hues has been compared to the style of Paul Gauguin.
