Before Fame
He opened a textiles business in his early twenties and went on to study economics at Ritsumeikan University. His first instant noodles product made its debut in 1958.

The Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum was established in his honor.
Family Life
Born and raised in Taiwan, he later settled in Osaka, Japan. He and his wife Masako raised children named Hirotoshi, Koki, and Akemi.
