Miyuki Nakajima

Former Kayokyoku singer, songwriter, producer and radio personality that sold over 21 million copies during her singing career. She has personally released over 50 albums and 40 singles, and has also written and produced over 90 pieces for other artists. 

Before Fame

She launched her professional singing career in 1975 after signing a contract with Yamaha and Canyon Records. She began to gain fame in 1977 with her hit song "The Parting Song (Wakareuta)."

Trivia

In November of 2009, she was awarded a Medal of Honor by the Japanese government. 

Family Life

She is a native of Sapporo, Hokkaidō.

She wrote the former top ten song "Suzume (Sparrow)," which was sung by Japanese Pop singer Keiko Masuda.
