Mitch William Evans

Professional race car driver from New Zealand known for being a Formula E racer, for becoming the youngest driver to win an international Grand Prix at 16 years old in 2011. He is also known for winning the Formula E race in the 2019 Rome ePrix. 

Before Fame

He began karting when he was six years old. He started full-on car racing at the age of 13. He won the NZ Grand Prix when he was 16. He attended Saint Kentigern College in Pakuranga, Auckland. He dropped out of college and left at the end of 2010 to pursue his racing career. His debut with Formula E was in the 2016 Hong Kong E-Prix. 

Trivia

He has raced for Jaguar for many years in a very long partnership. He partnered with the fashion brand Dadelszen in 2023 since he has an interest in fashion. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. His brother is racecar driver Simon Evans. 

Associated With

He and James Calado were originally supposed to be partnered to race for Jaguar. He and Sam Bird became teammates in 2021.
