Actress best recognized for her role as Keiko Onuki in the film Battle Royale. She is also known for having starred as Aileen in the 2020 film Minamata. 

Before Fame

She started her career as a model, appearing in several print and commercial advertisements. She then made her feature film debut in 2000's Battle Royale. She landed her first recurring television role in 2004 when she starred in Cheer Heaven.

She is also an artist and painter and shares photos of her works through Instagram. 

Family Life

She was born in Tokyo to a Japanese mother and French father.
