Child cancer survivor dubbed Batkid, who at age five was the recipient of one of the most elaborate Make-A-Wish projects ever staged. His wish was to be a superhero sidekick. In November 2013, San Francisco locals and businesses worked to create a fake Gotham City and staged events in his honor. In 2018, he was declared cancer-free.
