DJ and music executive nicknamed "5000" who became a legend in the Houston hip-hop scene as the co-founder of the influential label Swishahouse, which has been home to artists like Mike Jones and Slim Thug. He is considered one of the godfathers of the "chopped and screwed" movement.
Before Fame
He grew up in the Homestead neighborhood in northeast Houston. He created Swishahouse in response to the rap music coming out of the city's south side.
