Michael Jibson

English actor known for his roles in numerous television miniseries, such as The Essex Serpent, Four Lives, and Saints & Strangers. He portrayed Lieutenant Hutton in the critically acclaimed war film 1917. In 2021, he appeared in Edgar Wright's psychological horror film Last Night in Soho.

Before Fame

He earned a BA in musical theatre from the Guildford School of Acting in 2002.

Trivia

He won the 2018 Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for his performance in Hamilton. His performance in Our House from 2002 to 2003 earned him the Guinness World Record for most costume changes in a stage show.

Family Life

His brother, Paul Jibson, is also an actor. His father, Tim Jibson, has worked as a DJ. Since 2008, he has been married to actress Caroline Sheen, with whom he has a daughter named Flora.
