Famous as a silver medalist at the 2012 Olympic Games (held in London, England), this American volleyball player is also notable as a three-time gold medalist at the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. She and her teammates also won two bronze medals at the Pan American Cup and a silver medal at the 2011 FIVB World Cup.
Before Fame
During her years at Durham, North Carolina's Riverside High School, she earned the title of the State of North Carolina's All-Time Best High School Girls' Volleyball Player. She went on to become a First Team All-American volleyball player for Penn State and a 2007 NCAA volleyball championship winner.

She played professionally for the Azerbaijani volleyball club Azerrail Baku and for the Chinese club Guangdong Evergrande.
Family Life
The daughter of professional volleyball players Carmen and Michael Hodge, she spent the first three years of her life in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and the remainder of her childhood in Durham, North Carolina. She married Omar West in 2012.
