Matt Frazier

Drummer known for the indie rock band Local Natives. He and band members Kelcey Ayer, Ryan Hahn, Taylor Rice and Andy Hamm collaborated on songwriting. In 2009, they released their debut album titled Gorilla Manor.

Before Fame

The band first formed in 2005. In December 2008, he and the band members moved to a house in Silver Lake together.

Trivia

In 2013, he and his band toured as openers for Kings of Leon. In June 2013, he and his band performed "Breakers" on The Late Show with David Letterman. They have also performed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He spends his free time running and cycling.

Family Life

His grandparents were into jazz and they inspired him to listen to Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa.
