Before Fame

Prior to being drafted by the Dodgers in 2015, he was drafted in the 48th round of the 2011 MLB draft by the Kansas City Royals.

Trivia

He hit his first MLB home run against Kyle Hendricks of the Chicago Cubs on June 14, 2019.

Family Life

He was born in Snellville, Georgia, where he lived with his parents David and Lynn Beaty, as well as his sister Jennifer and his younger brother Kyle. He and his high school sweetheart, Jesica Parsley Beaty, were married in 2016. In January 2024, they welcomed their first son.
