Before Fame
He has been singing since he was very young. He attended Government Middle School Natt before moving to Bathinda with his family. He attended the Government Rajindra College in Bathinda and continued developing his singing and musical skills while there. He joined the 2007 reality program "Awaaz Punjab Di" and won the competition. This jumpstarted his career in the Punjabi music industry.
Trivia
He won the gold medal in singing for four straight years in high school. In February of 2023, he released his popular song "Guru Ravidass Te Baba Nanak Vakh Nahi."

He was born in Natt Village, Bathinda, Punjab, India. His parents were Raj Khan and Mohinder Kaur. He has two brothers and four sisters. He has two sons.
