British-Nigerian actor famously known for his portrayal of Will Mondrich on the Netflix series Bridgerton. His film appearances include The Last British Execution and The Tragedy of King Richard the Second. He also has an extensive resume of stage credits, including performances in stage productions such as Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Death of a Salesman, and Othello.
Before Fame
He studied performing arts at Lewisham College before auditioning for drama school. He ultimately did not get in, but later re-auditioned and earned admission to the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, from which he graduated in 2013.
Trivia
He was nominated for an Ian Charleson Award in 2018 for his performance in Richard II. In 2021, he also received an Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series nomination from the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Family Life
He is originally from Edo State, Nigeria. He relocated with his family to Greece, where he lived from the ages of 2 to 7, before relocating once again to South East London.
