Before Fame

With a passion for music early on, he attended high school in Las Vegas where he formed his first band Captain Go. After moving to Portland, he joined The Shins.

He was featured in the Current TV documentary All Eyes on The Shins.

He was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
