Piano-playing political satirist who is known for his series of PBS specials, aired live at least four times a year between 1975 and 2004. In 2010 he retired from public performances but came out of retirement in 2013.
Before Fame
He grew up in Buffalo, New York before moving to Florida briefly after high school. He later served in the United States Marines after attending George Washington University for a month.
Trivia
In 1994 he argued in front of the Supreme Court that song parodies were protected under fair use and won.
