Drummer, producer and engineer known as a founding member of the Los Angeles-based band Lord Huron. He is known for blending world percussion and rock drumming to create a distinctly layered sound. His band's song "Ends of the Earth" was featured in the series finales of the shows Longmire and Community. Their song "The Night We Met" has been used in shows including The Affair, The Originals, The Flash and 13 Reasons Why.
Before Fame
He studied drums and percussion at Michigan State University.
Trivia
He plays drums including Ludwig Classic Maple and Vintage Nickel Sparkle. In July 2015, he and Lord Huron performed "Fool For Love" on Late Night with Seth Meyers. They returned in May 2018 and performed "Wait By The River." In 2016, he appeared in the television documentary The Road to ACL.
