Spanish actress who was best recognized for her recurring television and soap opera appearances. She was known for having portrayed Marisa Benito on the series Aqui no hay Quien Viva as well as Izaskun Sagastume on the show La que se avecina. 

Before Fame

She started her career as a theatrical actress, appearing in several productions with the Cultura Hispánica de Bilbao theater group. She then started appearing in short films such as La interrogación de F. Bardají before making her feature film debut in 1962's Playa insolita. 

Trivia

She is known for having won the Best Actress award at the 2007 ATV Awards in Spain for her role in Aquí no hay quien viva. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Biscay, Spain and was married to Javier Urquijo from 1939 until 2003.

She starred alongside Carmen Maura and Eduardo Gómez in the 2000 feature film La Comunidad.
