Known for hosting Arabic lifestyle and culinary programs on the Yemen TV, Al Jadeed, Al Jazeera Arabic, Egyptian Television, and Libya TV stations, she became known for introducing certain New Age ideas into Arabic culture.

Before Fame

During her early adulthood, she studied with Indian guru Osho (also known as Rajneesh) and with Japanese nutritional expert Michio Kushi.

Trivia

She became a dual citizen of the United States and Lebanon.

Family Life

She was born Marie Yeghiayan in Douma, Lebanon, to a family of mixed Armenian and Lebanese heritage.

She and Zaven Kouyoumdjian both hosted popular Lebanese television programs (Kouyoumdjian became known for his work on a show titled Siree Wenfatahet).
