Cuban actress who is known for her roles in both television series' and feature films. She is known for having played the main protagonist in both Continental in 2018 and Vis a Vis in 2015. 

Before Fame

She graduated from the Higher Institute of Art and started her career performing in several operas including Where the Love Grows. She then moved to Spain in 1996 and started working on several different television programs. 

Trivia

She won the Best Actress award in 2013 for her role in Neuralgia as well as the Best Female Lead Award for her role in Vis a Vis at the Waves Awards in 2015. 

Family Life

While she was born in Havana, Cuba, she later settled in Spain in 1982.

She starred alongside Penélope Cruz in the Pedro Almodóvar feature film Volver.
