Polish professional basketball player who was famous for being the tallest professional female basketball player in the world, standing at 7 ft 2 in tall. She played center position for multiple teams in the WNBA and was a coach for the Northside Wizards in the Queensland Basketball League.
Before Fame
In May 1998, she made her first trip to the United States for the WNBA pre-draft camp. She was drafted 1st overall in the 1998 WNBA draft by the Utah Starzz.

Family Life
Her elder sister, Katarzyna used to play for the Colorado Xplosion. Her younger sister, Marta played basketball at the University of Texas-El Paso and played in Spain professionally in the 2000s. She was married to David Twigg from 2008 until she died in 2011. They have two sons, Alexander and David Twigg. She died while she was pregnant with her third child.
