He wrote his first songs at the age of 13 and started making a name for himself by posting videos on YouTube. In 2018 he continued to establish himself in the national rap scene with various singles and collaborations including "23 Stabs" with Higsnog.

His birth name is William Miller Hickman III. Some of his childhood idols were Tupac, Eminem, and 50 Cent. He considers Snoop Dogg's Paid the Cost to the Boss and Gucci Mane's Trap House to be inspirations for his work. One of his face tattoos is "Arte," which is both a reference to his album and his view that rap is art.
