Best remembered for her appearances in Star Trek: The Next Generation,  and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, she also played the voice of the spaceship computer in all three of these series, as well as in Star Trek: Voyager.

Before Fame

After graduating from the University of Miami, she was cast in a 1960 episode of the popular television series Leave It to Beaver.

Trivia

She appeared in an episode of Babylon 5 and provided voice-over work for Family Guy.

Family Life

She married Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry in 1969; the couple welcomed a son, producer Rod Roddenberry, in 1974.

Associated With

She appeared as Lwaxana Troi, the mother of Marina Sirtis' character (Deanna Troi), in several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
