Also known under the pseudonym Charmaine Munroe, Lady Cham, and Lady Mackerel, she is a singer and songwriter. She is known for releasing several pop albums including Don't Disturb Mi in 2012 and several hit singles including "Chase Money" and "Mi Ready". 

Before Fame

After being influenced by a range of different Jamaican legends, she began recording her own singles in 2003. After releasing "Don Girl", she went on to release several other singles, most notably the 2003 hit "Tekk Con". Her debut album came out in 2006 titled Money-O. 

Trivia

In addition to her music, she has also written and published several novels and books including The Real Gangster Wife, Bun Him, and Naughty of Nice?. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica.
