Lukas Cormier

About

Professional defenceman that was taken by the Vegas Golden Knights as a third round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. After being drafted, he was sent to the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League. He won a gold medal with Team Canada during the 2022 World Junior Championships.

Before Fame

Prior to his NHL career, he played for the Atlantic Jr. Selects Hockey team. He initially began playing hockey with them in 2011.

Trivia

He played in a career-high 63 games as a member of the Charlottetown Islanders during the 2018 Hockey season. Over time, he has appeared in more than 200 games for the Islanders.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in New Brunswick, Canada. He is one of two siblings. His sister, Dominique, also plays hockey and has played for the Princeton Tigers Women's Team.
