Suspect who was arrested on December 9, 2024, in connection with the murder of the CEO of United Health Care. The case gripped the nation as video footage aired of the gunman committing the crime in the heart of New York City. 

Before Fame

He was the valedictorian at Gilman High School in 2016.  He gave a speech discussing how his school sold Chick-fil-A sandwiches as a fundraiser when he was a sophomore.

Trivia

He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 and then pursued an engineering career, which included a four-year stint at TrueCar.  He was arrested in Altoona, PA; which is roughly 300 miles from where the killing had taken place 5 days prior. 

Family Life

His cousin is United States politician Nino Mangione.  His Facebook account stated that he was from Towson, Maryland. 

Associated With

He had previously liked social media posts about Ted Kaczynski.  He was active on Twitter under the pepmangione username and he followed multiple entrepreneurs including Sam Altman, Naval Ravikant, and Scott Galloway.
