Before Fame

He began singing in middle school, performing in choirs, a cappella groups and rock ensembles throughout high school. He was a co-captain on his varsity soccer team.

Trivia

He enrolled at Elon University as a Business and Music double major.

Family Life

Both his father, Lowell Oakley Jr., and his uncle, Tony, were singers as well. He has a sister named Lydia.

Associated With

He and Brooke Adee sang with Sawyer Fredericks in a non-competition performance of Jonny Lang's song "Lie to Me" on The Voice.
