Hungarian poet and translator known for A Satan Muremekei (Masterpieces of Satan), Regen es most (Then and Now), and other works. He also published a book of sonnets entitled The 26th Year.

He began writing for Az Est, a Budapest literary publication, in 1921.

He was a member of the European Writers' League, an organization that had been founded by infamous Nazi leader Joseph Goebbels.
Family Life
He married Klara Mikes in 1921 and had two children. Later, he had a long-term relationship with Erzsebet Korzati that lasted until Korzati's 1950 suicide.
Associated With
He translated Samuel Taylor Coleridge's famous Kubla Khan into Hungarian.
