Before Fame
She attended Niles North High School, where she was the class clown. She briefly attended Iowa State University and Columbia College Chicago before transferring to North Park University. She began performing standup at an open-mike event as a student at North Park University.

She appeared on television shows including Late Night with Seth Meyers, Chelsea Lately and Lights Out with David Spade. She had a half hour special and album Glittercheese with Comedy Central. She appeared in a Netflix special as part of The Degenerates. She was featured on Variety's 2017 Top 10 comics to watch list.
Family Life
As a child, she migrated from Ukraine to Chicago with her parents during the breakup of the Soviet Union in 1990. She is Jewish.
