American freestyle, Latin pop, and dance-pop singer who is best known for her 1991 hits "Together Forever" and "A Day In My Life (Without You)". Both songs as well her her catalogue of music were critical dance music successes that they have been attributed to helping renew an interest in Freestyle music in the early 1990s.
Before Fame
She sang in a church choir when she was younger which helped increase her aspirations to become a singer. In 1988 she sang backing vocals for a track by dance music record producer Carlos Berrios which helped launch her career in music. A few years of dance club touring eventually led to the recording of her first single "Together Forever" which ended up being produced by Carlos Berrios. Soon after, she earned representation from Fever/Columbia Records.
