Lisa Yee

Widely known for having created and authored the DC Comics Super Hero High comic series. She has also earned renown for her prolific career writing young adult novels, which saw her have over 2 million books in publication as of June 2016.

Before Fame

She graduated from the University of Southern California with a dual degree in English and humanities. She subsequently worked at Walt Disney World as a writer and producer.

Trivia

She has worked as the co-owner and creative director of the strategic creative company Magic Pencil Studios. She was awarded the 2004 Sid Fleischman Humor Award for her novel Millicent Min, Girl Genius.

She was born and raised near Los Angeles, California.
