Initially famous for her roles in Happy Birthday to Me, Deadly Eyes, and other Canadian cult films of the 1980s, Langlois went on to appear in a number of American films, including The Slugger's Wife and The Man Who Wasn't There.
Before Fame
After finishing as runner-up in the 1974 Miss Teen Canada pageant, she completed a bachelor's degree at McMaster University. In her first film, the 1978 feature Blood Relatives, she co-starred with Donald Sutherland.
Trivia
During the late 1980s, she appeared in an episode of Murder, She Wrote and participated in a professional stage production of Once In a Lifetime at Southern California's La Jolla Playhouse.

She grew up in North Bay and Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and later lived in both Canada and the United States with her son Emerson.
