Famous for her childhood role as Phyllis Lindstrom's daughter Bess on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and on its spinoff, Phyllis, she is also known for her early recurring role as Lydia Monroe on My World and Welcome to It.

She made her television debut in a 1968 episode of The Good Guys.

Trivia

In 1972, she voiced several characters in the animated series The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan.

Family Life

Born Lisa Orszag in Los Angeles, California, she is the great-grandchild of early movie actors Virginia True Boardman and True Boardman and the granddaughter of screenwriter True Boardman (Jr). Her marriage to John Rustan resulted in a son.
