Indian singer, songwriter, and composer largely credited with introducing the Indian audience to Western influences such as the rock and pop genres. He earned fame as a founding member of the duo Colonial Cousins, which became the first Indian act to perform on MTV Unplugged in 1996. He has been involved in the Indian productions of celebrated stage musicals such as Beauty and the Beast and Jesus Christ Superstar. He is also notable for his work in the advertising industry as a jingle composer and as the producer and composer for Coke Studio @ MTV's debut season in 2012.
Before Fame
